Key Task:

  • Identify and target potential customers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Analyse customer needs and present suitable products and services to fulfil their requirements.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets consistently while maintaining high levels of customer service.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
  • Manage the sales process in communication and as directed by company operational depts and management.
  • Collaborate with BDM and sales team to improve the services offerings based on customer feedback.
  • Reporting and documentation of customer database and meeting minutes.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and potential clients. Provide feedback to management on market conditions and sales by means of regular reporting.
  • Actively monitor tender opportunities from clients in the southern region and ensure that the company receives all relevant tender invitations. Collaborate with clients to remain on their preferred vendor lists.
  • Maintain close communication with the Erbil office, passing on leads promptly and ensuring that quotes and tenders are developed and submitted on time.

Competency Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative or similar role in a sales-driven environment in Oil and Gas Machine Shop services.
  • Candidate should have previous experience within the oil and gas industry and be familiar with various aspects of Drilling and Completion Operations / Equipment.
  • Familiarity with Oil and Gas Protocols and Processes in South Iraq.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, Applicant must be fluent in Arabic, very good in English and preferred to Know Kurdish language but not mandatory.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • The Applicant preferred to be resident of Basra city.
  • Driving license and having a owned vehicle is mandatory to navigate.
